808 Mafia is an American record label and production group. It was founded by Lex Luger and Southside in 2010.
They are known for defining the modern-day sound of trap music, with the use of heavy 808 drums. The group was signed to Bricksquad Monopoly. They do most of Bricksquad’s production and have helped define the label’s sound.
In early 2012, they released two instrumental mixtapes.
