Jayden Keovorabouth, known to most as JayKeo, is an Asian-American rapper from San Diego, California. The rising artist draws mainly on melodic rap, using a mix of piano and guitar based beats to back up his strong voice.
The Cali native released his first song in December 2020, titled “My Brotha,” exclusively on YouTube. Jay steadily released more music after the song, giving us December 2020’s “Unwritten Pain” and “Boba Date,” while releasing “Baby,” “I Love You mama,” and “Cold Heart,” all in January 2021.
Jay’s first release on a streaming platform other than YouTube was a rerelease of “Unwritten Pain,” which found itself on Spotify and Apple Music in February 2021. The music video is one of his most viewed videos, surpassing 2,000 views, despite being made a months after the song’s release.
In April 2021, JayKeo released the track “False Claims,” following it up later that month with “Asian Boy.” While the former didn’t have one, Jay made a music video for the latter track, releasing it in mid-June.
