Kendrick Lamar Duckworth (born June 17, 1987) is an American rapper and songwriter. Known for his progressive musical styles and socially conscious songwriting, he is often considered one of his generation’s most influential hip-hop artists.

Hykeem Jamaal Carter Jr. (born October 22, 2000), known professionally as Baby Keem, is an American rapper and record producer. He initially gained major recognition following the release of his 2019 single “Orange Soda” from his second mixtape Die For My Bitch.

Kendrick and Keem are cousins, which is highlighted through their song “Family Ties.”

Known collectively as “The Hillbillies,” Lamar and Keem toured together in 2022, with Keem serving as the opening act for Lamar’s “The Big Steppers Tour.” The Hillbillies are set to perform their debut headlining set at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival in November 2023.
