Rotten Apple Trees is a punk rock band formed in La Crescenta, CA in 2016. The project started as a rock duo featuring brothers Harrison and Dominic Manzano. After recording their first EP “The Fruit Doesn’t Fall Far”, Phillip Mardirossian joined the band on bass and vocals.

In 2017 they released a follow up EP “Bi tha Whey” as well as a split EP and several singles. Rotten Apple Trees released an EP titled “Why Bother” in June of 2019 featuring a fan favorite track “Pain”.

Lucas Simblet joined the band in 2019 to play lead guitar and provide lead/backup vocals. The band has played many classic Los Angeles venues such as the Whiskey a Go Go and the Viper Room, and are looking to expand their horizons and play more cities. The latest release of Rotten Apple Trees is their new EP “Kickflips in the Church Parking Lot After School”. The EP features their best work yet and standout tracks “Lexapro”, “Veins”, and “Ditto” (Featuring LA musician Blue from the band Klementines).

In early 2021, the band underwent a lineup change with brothers Dylan and Gavin Ventura joining on bass and lead guitar, respectively. During this time, the band also made the decision to move from their hometown of La Crescenta to Boise, ID.
