Artist
Born and raised in Brazil, Laysa started her journey through music and fashion first associated with punk rock and reggae, listening to local riot grrrl bands and writing poetry in her blog. The interest in poetry led her to hip hop, where she found a platform for her art – but she doesn’t like to be limited by it. Her first video, ”Ghetto Woman”, was nominated as Best Video in the 2016 m-v-f- awards. 2017 marked a new year to Laysa; as she says in ”Tandera”, ”nobody’s gonna stand in my way.”
