Cyris Conley, professionally known as Rich Chanel, was born on the 15th of March, 2000 in Houston Texas before moving to Los Santos at the age of 22. Chanel is an artist, producer, and engineer. It is believed that the name “Rich Chanel” is a reference to his initials and the Chanel logo, as both contain two C’s.

In May of 2022, Chanel’s place of residence flooded and ruined all of his music equipment as well as his personal belongings prompting his move out to Los Santos. Chanel arrived at Los Santos International Airport with nothing but the clothes on his back, and set off to get himself an apartment. Chanel began working doing sanitation and other various jobs to save up money and buy cheap music equipment to begin his hobby as an independent artist.

With no money, Rich Chanel set out to find a way to create a stable income. Chanel heard talks of a music label in town known as “Wu-Chang Records”, and decided maybe it was time to take music a step further and see what his bedroom ballads could really do in the industry.

On June 6th, 2022, Rich Chanel was searching through the Yellow Pages in order to find a Wu-Chang employee to talk to about getting hired. Chanel found Wu-Chang executive Niko Rain and gave him a call. An audition was arranged for later that evening. At the audition, Chanel performed a few of the songs he produced in his apartment with his budget setup, and was offered the position of “Intern Artist” at Wu-Chang Records. He accepted, and was now at his first step of being in the music industry.

Later on in July of 2022, Rich Chanel was invited to take part in Wu-Chang Idol, where he received one of the only ever perfect scores for a performance, and eventually won the competition, gaining himself $500,000 and a contract to be a full artist with Wu-Chang Records.

After high demand, Rich Chanel announced his first ever project, “Sincerely, Rich Chanel”, and its release date of 8/21/22. In preparation for the release of his first mixtape, Chanel released a single from the project titled “Feel” featuring Don Dolph. The track instantly took off, and is a good look into the future for Rich Chanel’s career.

The 22 year old artist is as hot as ever, and is quickly making a name for himself in the ever so competitive music industry of Los Santos.
