BADBADNOTGOOD is a post-bop, instrumental hip hop jazz trio from Toronto, Ontario. The group includes Leland Whitty on saxophones and keys, Chester Hansen on bass, and Alexander Sowinski on drums. Keyboard player Matthew Tavares was a founding member but departed in 2019; the split was not amicable.
The trio is known for their interpretations of hip hop tracks and their collaborations with Tyler The Creator and Frank Ocean.
