Vencí

Artist

Vencí Eno Martinez (born 9 April 2000) is an Salvadorean artist, producer and songwriter best known for his uniquely alternative hip-hop music. He would begin his musical endeavors back in 2020 for producing for the likes of various artists that stay unknown until today due to his lack of giving himself credit since he hadn’t formed a producer name at the time, and still to this day, he rarely credits himself for production on other artists songs. He would play a major role of shaping the sounds of underground artists while pushing their careers to the top with his various marketing techniques. He has stated various times of his work in pushing and promoting several different artists and helping boost their careers without their knowledge and just for the love of the artist. He would form his collective back in 22 July of 2022 under the name ‘Blesata’. The Blesata collective is a group of underground artists and producers that help contribute with his own music, and his plans outside of his own music and music in general. The artists and producers within this collective is completely unknown and kept hidden for various purposes but we do know that this has gaven him many different insights and connections to the industry. While in 2022, Vencí would subsequently release his first album, named ‘Death Of Anahí’ in December of 2022. This album would be promoted with various twitter and instagram posts that are now lost to time and archived/deleted but promotion for this album stems from July of 2022. This album seems to have various different versions such as it’s original title being, ‘Nora’ then later in September-November repurposed to be titled ‘Anahí’ & ‘Pray For Anahí’, to then finally be named ‘Death Of Anahí’. This album would seem to catch the attention of various producers and artists to the point interpolations of songs from this album were done and so were samples such as Trippie Redd’s ‘Monclear Coat’ sampling Vencí’s track, ‘Ki$$ Ki$$’.

After his first album, he began working on several different projects, both for himself and other artists with the first one being titled, ‘Amisha’. This album would be a continuation to Death Of Anahí and it’s theme but being submerged within a cloud rap & psychedelic sound which would then be unfortunately fully scraped for the next idea titled, ‘6EX6EX6EX’. This project created within the time period of Feburary 2023 would be an entirely vaporwave album focusing on various themes of mental health and lust but unfortunately this album would be completely scraped after posting various snippets teasing tracks. After this, Vencí figured he should return back to a traditional hip-hop album which he began working on that same month leading into March, titled ‘Veronica, Just Understand (V.J.U)’ These songs would be once again, completely thrown away and to be given to various different artists but this album would then emerge into his next and definitive second album titled, ‘Alfredo’. Alfredo was named after a family member who had passed away back in late 2022 and in honor to the correlations within his life and Vencí’s such as leaving a religious, christian lifestyle for a worldy path. This album would be originally promoted to be released in March of 2023 but would then be delayed 3 more months to June of 2023 which it would then get it’s release on June 23rd, 2023. This album would set the foundation of Vencí’s next sound with a more deeper and simplistic production style which we would see within his next project titled, ‘vencí2001’. This EP is meant to follow a narrative for a future book and movie titled 2002 which would be released in the far future. This EP would be Vencí’s mark of progress with songs such as ‘Count The Caskets’, ‘See You At Midnight’ & ‘Rihanna’ reaching over 1,000 streams within spotify alone. We would also seem to see a collaboration with Ojerime, Qendresa and European Producer, Lensko. This EP would expand Vencí’s fanbase fully giving him fans international too and demonstrating his true artistry.

After various months of teasing, it seems like Vencí is preparing to release his third album, originally titled ‘What Could’ve Been’, now repurposed as ‘Satan Is Always Watching’ in May Of 2024
