Ariadna Thalía Sodi Miranda — known solely as Thalía — is a Mexican actress, singer-songwriter, author, entrepreneur, fashion designer and radio presenter. She was born on August 26, 1971 in Mexico City, Mexico.
She is well known for her telenovelas, such as María la del Barrio and Rosalinda.

From 1981, she was the vocalist of a children’s group named “Pac Man” (later changed to “Din-Din”) before breaking up in 1984. In 1990, she came back with her first solo record album, Thalía, on October 10, 1990.

She is one of the most well-known Mexican singers, in fact, for her successful musical career she was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on December 5, 2013.

She’s been married to the American music executive Tommy Mottola since 2000, and they have two children.
