Group 1 Crew is a Hip-Hop/Rap, Funk, Pop band from Orlando, FL. The “crew” was founded by siblings Jose “Manwell” & Blanca Reyes, and Pablo Villatoro in 2003. The group went on to release 3 albums with this line up, until Villatoro announced he would leave the group to spend more time with his family. The year after that, they released their fourth album Fearless. A little after the release of that album, Blanca (now Callahan) announced that she would depart from the group to start her new solo career under the name Blanca. Manuel then started recruiting the new line up for the whole band for the next chapter of G1C.
The band now includes Manuel Reyes (vocals and rap), Sarah Sandoz (vocals and rap), Lance Herring (guitars), Loren “Snoopy” Clark (bass), and Brian Ramey (drums).
In 2014, the band released 2 EPs with the new lineup. And in 2016, they released their first album in 4 years, POWER.
