Hailing from Tromsø, Norway, Röyksopp are an electronic music duo that was formed in 1998. Its two members are Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland. Their debut album “Melody A.M.” released on 3 September 2001 received acclaim from critics and has sold over 750,000 copies worldwide.

The duo have experimented with various genres of electronic music including house music and synth-pop.
