Don Caballero (named after Guy Caballero, a character on the TV show Second City Television) was an American math rock band formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1991. Throughout the 90s they pioneered the genre, and are often considered the definitive math rock band.

Following several minor line-up changes throughout the band’s years, the band finally dissolved in 2000 after a van crash prevented them from getting to their final American Don tour show in Detroit, Michigan. After reforming in 2003, drummer Damon Che remains the only founding member of the band. The band has been on an indefinite hiatus since their latest release, Gangbanged with a Headache, and Live, came out in 2012.
