Rayshaun Malik Scott, known professionally as Chavo, is an upcoming rapper based in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also the son of Boston rapper Benzino and the brother of rapper Coi Leray.
In 2019, Chavo signed to rapper-producer Pi'erre Bourne’s record label SossHouse, where he released the two mixtapes Hood Luva, Vol. 1 and Mixed Emotions in late 2019.
Chavo dropped his debut album Chavo’s World in 2020 after much anticipation. A collaboration with Pi'erre Bourne, the album spawned some of Chavo’s biggest hits to date, specifically “Michigan,” which gained popularity on TikTok. A sequel, Chavo’s World 2 was released in 2021.
In March 2022, Chavo released the long-awaited HOOD Luva, Vol. 2, the sequel to his debut 2019 project. Chavo is also the head of his own record label, Paid Cash Records.
