This Is Ivy League was an New York-based indie folk-pop duo compromising of Alex Suarez and Ryland Blackinton. Their debut EP London Bridges was released in 2006, before the two joined dance-pop band Cobra Starship. The pair continued to write music for This Is Ivy League during the time they were with Cobra Starship, and released their debut self-titled full length in 2008.
