By Storm is an alternative hip hop duo comprised of rapper RiTchie and producer Parker Corey, both former acts of the now concluded alternative hip hop trio Injury Reserve.

Formally announced on July 6th, 2023 via social media, the duo was formed as a “hand off from” Injury Reserve, following the unfortunate death of trio member Stepa J. Groggs. According to said announcement, the duo had this to say on their decision to form a duo under a new name:

To respect the specificity of all three of us as Injury Reserve, we have decided not to make
new music under this name. Nathaniel and Parker have continued working together and
plan to release under By Storm as a hand off from our work within Injury Reserve.

The duo is named after Injury Reserve’s last track on their final album, By the Time I Get to Phoenix.
