Sneaky Sound System is an incredibly influential Australian Dance, ElectroPop, Electric House Duo. Now consisting of only Black Angus and main vocalist Connie Mitchell. The duo celebrated great success in Australia and abroad from 2001 to at least 2013, releasing 3 albums so far and having released a single, I Ain’t Over You and featuring on Show Me from DJ Zinc and they have been performing gigs ever since.
In 2001 Sneaky Sound System established their own label, Whack Recordings, to publish their first album as no label would take on their original material. In 2004 Hip Hip Hooray was their first single and it appeared in the Top 100 of the ARIA Singles Chart.
In 2005 Connie Mitchell came on board as vocalist and their breakthrough single I Love It (2006) which was in the Top 100 of the ARIA Charts for 73 weeks and reached the 24th spot. In 2006 their first album titled Sneaky Sound System was released and earned them 2 ARIA Awards (Australian Recording Industry Association) in 2007 after these wins the Album peaked at No. 2 on the Charts and was certified x3 Platinum in December of 2011. The single Pictures peaked at no. 19 in 2006, then came UFO in 2007 which peaked at no. 11.
2008 saw the release of their second album, 2 became a number 1 album, the first single was Kansas City and it reached no. 14. The next big hit came as the third single, 16, which reached no.4 on the ARIA Club Charts.
They toured Australia and landed large festival gigs through out the UK until the release of their third album From Here To Anywhere in 2011 reaching no.11 on the ARIA Album Charts. We Love was the first release peaking at no. 29, the second single Big reached no. 2 on the ARIA Club Charts.
Most recently the group released the single 2016 I Ain’t Over You reached no.3 on the Charts.

In September 2017, on TMRW Music (formerly Ministry of Sound), new remixes of Pictures 2017 were released by Mall Grab, Dom Dolla, Colour Castle together with a Sneaky Sundays remix. These mixes reached No. 2 on the ARIA Club Chart. February 2018 saw the release of new remixes of “I Love It” from Death Ray Shake, Jordan Burns, Superlove and Luke Million. These mixes spent four weeks at No. 3 on the ARIA Club Chart.

In July 2018 their single “Can’t Help The Way That I Feel” was released on Cr2 Records. Featuring an interpolation of an excerpt from Love Come Down, written by Kashif and originally recorded by Evelyn “Champagne” King, CHTWTIF spent two months in the Beatport main chart, peaking at #2, spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Beatport House chart, and in December 2018, reached No. 1 on the UK Club Chart (Music Week Upfront Club Chart).

July 2019 saw the release of a new single, WE BELONG, also on Cr2 Records. On 18 July 2019, Beatport named Sneaky Sound System their Artist of the Week.
