Dylan Gardner

Artist

A talented multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter whose rich musical upbringing instilled a passion for pure pop craftsmanship, Dylan Gardner was born and raised in Aurora, Illinois. The son of a bass player and record store owner, Gardner was drawn to ‘60s and '70s artists like the Beatles, Harry Nilsson, Zombies, Beach Boys, and Bob Dylan at a very young age. Crediting Jimmy Page for his love of the six-string and Ben Folds as the impetus for his eagerness to master the piano, Gardner, a self-described “music nerd,” began writing and recording in his early teens. After relocating with his family to Arizona, he set up a recording studio in his bedroom, and in 2012 he released his debut EP, Morning Stories. In 2014, at the age of 17, he inked a deal with Warner Bros. and released his acclaimed debut album, Adventures in Real Time. ~ James Christopher Monger
