Artist

Zwan is an American rock supergroup formed in 2001. Its members include Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin of Smashing Pumpkins, Matt Sweeney of Chavez, David Pajo of Slint, and Paz Lenchantin of A Perfect Circle.

Zwan has two incarnations, The True Poets of Zwan, or simply Zwan, as well as Djali Zwan. Djali Zwan released a handful of tracks for the soundtrack of Spun, with Billy Corgan appearing in a cameo role as well.

The band released only one album, Mary Star of the Sea, in 2003 before parting ways that same year. Billy Corgan told the Chicago Tribune in 2005:

The music wasn’t the big problem, it was more their attitude… Sex acts between band members in public. People carrying drugs across borders. Pajo sleeping with the producer’s girlfriend while we were making the record.
