Most known as one-third of the legendary girl group The Supremes.
She eventually left the group and tried to go solo, but lack of success eventually drove her into depression, drug addiction, and alcoholism.
She died of a heart attack in 1976 at age 32 whilst planning a comeback in the music industry.
