Claire Martin (OBE), is an English jazz singer (born 6 September 1967 in South London, England). She has received numerous awards throughout the 1990’s and early 2000’s, including awards from the British Jazz Awards and BBC Jazz Awards for Best Vocalist. Apart from touring Europe, she also works as a co-presenter for “Jazz Line Up” on BBC Radio 3. She has collaborated with the jazz composer and performer Sir Richard Rodney Bennett. In 2020 Martin also sang several songs in the BBC Radio 2 show “Sunday Night is Music Night”.
