Russian Circles is a Chicago-based post-rock/post-metal band formed in 2004 by Mike Sullivan and David Turncrantz. Unlike many other bands of the genre, Russian Circles features only three musicians. Due to their extensive touring and high-quality music, Russian Circles quickly became critical favorites, with all of their albums being praised. Their most recent album Blood Year was released on August 2, 2019.
