Eddie Jermaine Miller (b. August 5, 1984), known as J Money, is a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia.

Raised by a single mother, he embraced the streets at a young age to support his family. He took to the streets at the age of 12 to assist his mother who worked diligently at a paper factory. It was during this time that he transitioned from being known as “J” to the moniker “J Money.”

His hustling skills led to financial success and a reputation in Atlanta. Inspired by the music industry, he invested in a group called “The Truth” but faced setbacks before embarking on his own music career.

After a brief hiatus, he returned with a renewed focus and signed with On Deck Records. Jokingly referring to his sound as the “New Futuristic Swag Movement,” J Money proudly claims he is so far ahead of his time that he doesn’t even bother brushing his hair.

Playing a significant role in Atlanta’s Westside movement, he collaborated with D4L label signee Shawty Lo to create his first chart-topping single “Trapper of the Year.” Additionally, he formed the Black Amigos with fellow members LA and Parlae.
