Shane Koyczan is a Canadian poet and author. He is a charismatic spoken word poet, and has published numerous works of slam poetry; some of which have been augmented musically with the folk instrumentation of his band The Short Story Long.
Grappling with issues such as drug addiction and bullying ever since he was a child, Shane Koyczan writes of such issues in his poetry.
He has given several TED talks and motivational speeches, and continues to work on his poetry.
