Valeria Andrews

Artist

Valeria Andrews known simply as Valeria is a now-retired singer and actress. Valeria has made a name for herself ever since her featured role in the film Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit; along with Whoopi Goldberg, she co-wrote the song “Pay Attention” for the film’s soundtrack. Her breakthrough dance single “Girl I Told Ya” made its splash on the hit TV series Gossip Girl.
Her best-known movie role was the amorous Wendy in Just Married, played alongside Ashton Kutcher.

She planned to release her debut album, Freshly Squeezed, in 2001. Though the album was originally planned to be more latin pop oriented, the concept for it drastically changed during Valeria’s short time being signed to Interscope. She finally released it in 2009 after multiple delays through her own independent label, Pink Lips Records. The album was a commercial failure even though it featured the work of famed producers such as Space Cowboy and Maddscientist, and Valeria officially retired from acting and singing soon after and now runs a yoga studio with her husband.
