Marvel’s Daredevil, or simply Daredevil, is a Netflix TV series created by Drew Goddard. Based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name (created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1964), it follows the journey of Matt Murdock, a lawyer who became blind in his youth and gained super enhanced senses.

The series is the first of four Marvel Studios Netflix TV series (Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist), which culminated in a mini-series called The Defenders. All of these shows are within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (or MCU).
