Born on June 2, 1981, Clyde Carson is a rapper from Oakland, California.

Originally, he was known as a member of the hip hop group The Team, but went on pursuing a quite successful solo career.

In 2006, he signed to The Game’s Black Wall Street Records. While signed there, he released the EP Doin' That. Nowadays, he is signed to Moe Doe Entertainment.

He is most known for his album Playboy and Slow Down, a song featuring his colleagues from The Team. The latter was played on the fictional radio station Radio Los Santos in the video game Grand Theft Auto V.

Clyde Carson is an ambassador for the energy drink Hyphy Juice, which is frequently mentioned in his songs.
