Thomas Bangalter was part of the French duo Daft Punk. He was born on January 3, 1975 and grew up with many music influences, including his dad, Daniel Bangalter, who was a French disco producer. Thomas would go on to have some successful side projects from Daft Punk as Stardust with the release of “Music Sounds Better With You” and “Trax on the Rocks” all on his own label, Roule. He is considered to be the the creator of “filtered house”.

Thomas Bangalter worked with Pharrell Williams and The Weeknd, including the most recent and last Daft Punk album Random Access Memories that won numerous awards. He is married to French actress Elodie Bouchez with whom he has two sons: Tara-Jay (born 2002) and Roxan (born 2008).

Thomas is also a film director, photographer, and furniture designer.

His first post-Daft Punk project is set to be a score production for a ballet concert in France set to happen in 2022.
