Keiko Matsui is a Japanese composer and keyboard player. She was born in Tokyo on July 26, 1961. She studied at the Yamaha Music Foundation and Japan Women’s University. Before releasing music as a composer, she formed the band Cosmos. Cosmos was active between 1980 and 1985. Afterwards, she released a solo album titled “A Drop Of Water” in 1987 with her husband, Kazu. Since then, she has continued to release music.
