Ashtin Larold

Artist

Born Jeremy Schmitt on March 30, 1996, Ashtin Larold is a rapper, singer, and songwriter from Sicklerville, New Jersey. He’s best known for his rap battle against another rapper known as KoppSoSick (the video for which has over 18 million views on YouTube as of May 2017). When he was only six months old, his father ditched him and his mother. He’s been suicidal for years and has had mental problems along with all of that.

However, he overcame these problems by writing raps and posting them to YouTube and SoundCloud. Ashtin started remixing rap songs under the moniker “Skin n' Bones” in 2012, when he was just 16 years old. Since then, he has built a steady fanbase on YouTube (with more than 170,000 subscribers as of February 2018), Twitter, Instagram, and SoundCloud, thanks in large part to his rap battle video against KoppSoSick. On January 27, 2016, Ashtin released his debut mixtape, Kids At Play for free on YouTube and SoundCloud. After 10 months of writing, producing, and recording, Ashtin released his debut album, Jersey Devil, on March 23, 2017. He released three singles leading up to the album’s release: “Mine” (featuring Cam Meekins), “G H O S T S”, and “BUCK”.

On August 12, 2018, after a few months of releasing promo singles, Ashtin dropped his six-song EP Keep Dreaming Kid, which featured two previously released singles: “Grew Up” and “Wyndam”.
