Artist

Lance Omal (born November 30, 1995), professionally known as Lancey Foux, is a recording artist, record producer, and model from Stratford, London.

Lancey began his musical journey in 2015 after accidentally finding his way to a studio through a friend after freestyling in his bedroom over beats he found on YouTube. His experimentation led to the birth of his debut mixtape Pink, which was released in the same year and was followed by his local breakthrough hit “About It” two weeks later. Lancey raised his profile and continued to find his sound in early 2018 with the release of Pink II, a sequel that boasted a feature from Skepta on its stand-out track “Dyed 2WICE.”

2019 would prove to be a pivotal year in Lancey’s career with the release of his breakout single “India,” followed by his debut studio album FRIEND OR FOUX. The popularity of both the single and the album resulted in his first headline show at O2 Islington being sold out. Lancey would surprise his fans 2 years later with the release of his 2021 mixtapes FIRST DEGREE and LIVE.EVIL as a result of the gap in music that was caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

After a series of promotional singles and projects, Lancey released his highly-anticipated sophomore studio album LIFE IN HELL on October 28, 2022, with features from 070 Shake, KAYTRANADA, and Jah$tar. His September 2022 single “LANCEY OR LANCEY” would also find itself on the tracklist of the album after garnering massive popularity through TikTok.

On September 8, 2023, Lancey released his third official mixtape, BACK2DATRAP, executive produced by Bally and Jay Trench. The mixtape was backed up with the smash hit single, “MMM HMM” with Sexyy Red.

Lancey’s versatility in the creative space has led him to opportunities in modeling as well. He has modeled for Givenchy, Air Jordan, A-COLD-WALL*, MISBHV, Trapstar London, and Naomi Campbell’s 2019 Fashion for Relief Gala, among many other brands and publications.
