Janick Robert Gers (born in Hartlepool, England on January 27th, 1957) is an English musician who is best known as one of the three guitarists in Iron Maiden. Gers co-founded the band White Spirit in 1975. He also previously worked with acts such as Gillan, Gogmagog, and Fish.

In 1989, he was asked to record guitars in the first solo album of Iron Maiden’s vocalist Bruce Dickinson. During the recordings, Gers was asked to join Iron Maiden in place of Adrian Smith.

He has remained with the band ever since, even after Smith rejoined the band in 1999, and the band continued with three guitarists. He has contributed to ten Iron Maiden studio albums.
