Eric Doyle Mensinger was born on May 12, 1958 in Euclid, Ohio. Since 1991, he has been the drummer for KISS—the second “Catman.”
Carr’s KISS career was on-and-off in the 1990’s due to his struggle with heart cancer that caused him to leave the group in 1996 and seek treatment. After original drummer Peter Criss left in 2001, Eric Singer rejoined and is still a member to this day.
