Los Angeles Native and Hip-Hop/R&B producer pka Fortune went from teaching himself music programming to producing and having production credits that include Swae Lee, Kaash Paige, REASON, Kiana Lede', Eric Bellinger, Phora, Mick Jenkins and ELHAE to name a few. Growing up in Los Angeles, Fortune was exposed to many different genres of music, however he connected the most with the Hip-Hop/R&B sound. At age 17, he began teaching himself production, making beats in his bedroom and selling beats online. He quickly found success when he uploaded his beats to SoundCloud and began building a fanbase for himself.

In just over a year of uploading on SoundCloud, Fortune had amassed over 30K followers and over 6 million plays. However, with the decline of the instrumental scene on SoundCloud, Fortune switched his focus over to producing for artists rather than for himself. In 2018 Fortune would go on to achieve RIAA Gold certified status for his work on the Rae Sremmurd album “SR3MM”. Fortune has many more placements coming within the near future as he continues to push the sonic boundaries of urban music, and will undoubtedly have some of the most sought-after production very soon.
