Mark Ellis, best known as Flood (born 16 August 1960 in London), is a British music producer. After building a career as an engineer, he debuted as a producer doing Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds’s first two albums, followed by labelmates Depeche Mode, Erasure, and Vince Clarke. Once he enginereed U2’s The Joshua Tree, Flood became highly requisited, doing albums by Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Tom Jones, and PJ Harvey, among others.
