Brittain Ashford is an American actress and musician, perhaps best known for portraying Sonya Rostova in Dave Malloy’s Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, for which she has been nominated for several awards, including the IRNE Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical. Brittain Ashford has also performed in Ghost Quartet, which Dave Malloy also wrote. In addition to performing in shows, she has released two albums and one EP with the band Prairie Empire, as well as being involved in other musical projects.
