Peter Hook (born Peter Woodhead; 13 February 1956) is an English singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer, best known as the former bassist and co-founder of Joy Division and New Order. Currently tours with his group Peter Hook and the Light, typically playing Joy Division/New Order albums straight through.
