Jade Amelia Thirlwall (born December 26, 1992) is a pop singer, who is a member of the hit British girl band Little Mix alongside Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and previously Jesy Nelson. They were formed during the 8th season of the television music competition ‘The X Factor’, and were the first band to win the show. They’ve since released four albums under Simon Cowell’s “SYCO” company. She had auditioned for The X Factor in 2008 and 2010 but got eliminated at Bootcamp stage. Jade is also well known for being a prominent supporter of the LGBT community, and she considers RuPaul her idol. She has been in a relationship with The Struts bassist Jed Elliot since January 2016, and officially called it quits in July 2019.

Also in 2019, Jade and Leigh-Anne, along with other British celebrities, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day. In November 2019, Jade opened her own cocktail bar, Red Door, in South Shields, the name of which was later changed to Arbeia in February 2020. Jade has confirmed that she is currently in a relationship with singer Jordan Stephens.

On December 2nd, 2021, Little Mix announced via an Instagram post that the group would be taking a break after finishing their Confetti Tour.
