Matt McGuire is an Australian drummer from Brisbane, Queensland, who is best known for his work as a supporting drummer for the American electronic music duo The Chainsmokers.

McGuire first caught the attention of the duo through covers of their songs that he posted to his YouTube channel. Since February 2017, McGuire has toured with The Chainsmokers on their Memories…Do Not Open tour, in support of their debut album of the same name.

In 2018, McGuire has become a more permanent, though not official, member of the group. The duo’s first release of the year, entitled “Sick Boy”, featured McGuire on the drums. McGuire himself was also featured in the song’s music video.
