Mikey Way

Mikey Way is a bassist hailing from New Jersey. Before joining his debut punk band My Chemical Romance, Way worked in a Barnes & Noble, where he created the band’s name after seeing an intriguing book title.
A year after My Chem’s split in 2013, Way joined the band Electric Century with David Debiak.
Although he was never officially part of any other bands, Way contributed to many artists, including Andy Biersack, Good Charlotte, and toured with Waterparks and From First to Last. He was also featured as part of the fictional band Asthma, on The Aquabats!.
After attending his first concert with his brother, Way told him that they “have to do this.”
