Ghostly International is an independent record label and art company based in Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 1999 by Sam Valenti IV, the label started in a University Of Michigan dorm room with its first signee Matthew Dear. Since then, Ghostly has become home to a multitude of musical and visual artists, selling records, paintings, goods, and clothing with a wide range of collaborators (most notably Adult Swim).

Ghostly’s sibling label, Spectral Sound, was formed in 2000 with a focus on the “Midwestern American Dance Sound”, releasing more club oriented records. Their SMM sublabel and series began in 2002 with a more ambient focus.

In June 2020, it was announced that Ghostly had joined the Secretly label group.
