Jazz Ishmael Butler (born October 3, 1995), best known by his stage name Lil Tracy, is a rapper from Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Born in Teaneck, New Jersey to musical parents, Tracy’s father is hip-hop musician Ishmael Butler, and his mother is R&B singer Coko Clemens. His parents split when he was just 8 years old, and his mother remarried and moved to Virginia Beach.

Tracy began making music when he was 15, before moving to Los Angeles, California at age 18 to focus on his music career. His musical style takes cues from emo rock and cloud rap.

Tracy adopted the Lil Tracy moniker after LA-based producer NEDARB gave him a Tracy McGrady jersey.

Tracy is well known for his close friendship with Lil Peep. Prior to Peep’s death in November 2017, the duo collaborated extensively on several songs as well as two collaborative projects. Further, Tracy is a former member of the emo-rap collectives GOTHBOICLIQUE and THRAXXHOUSE. In late 2022, Lil Tracy, together with Drippin So Pretty, created a creative collective vampboiclique.

Tracy released his long-awaited debut studio album Anarchy on September 20, 2019.
