Stephen Percy Harris, known as Steve Harris, is the bassist, keyboardist, lead composer and co-producer of England’s famous heavy metal band, Iron Maiden. Harris also has his own solo project and released an album called British Lion on his own.

He is the only consistent member in the line-up of his band (since 1975), and one of the two only members to have performed on every Iron Maiden album, the other being Dave Murray.

He is regarded as one of the most influential and important bassists of heavy metal history, making his unique bass tone stand from the rest of the sound of Iron Maiden; as well as one of the most important composers of his genre.
