Royal Trux is an alternative rock band founded in the mid-‘80s in Washington, D.C. by vocalist/guitarist Neil Hagerty and vocalist Jennifer Herrema—who were dating at the time. After a failed stint with Pussy Galore, the duo formed Royal Trux and released their debut eponymous album in 1988.

Royal Trux have released 11 studio albums; their first 10, spanning from 1988-2002, were released under Drag City and Virgin EMI. They produced music together under the alias Adam & Eve and disbanded in 2001 following the release of their June 2000 album, Pound for Pound.

In 2018, Royal Trux reformed the band and signed with Fat Possum Records. In March 2019, they released White Stuff, their first album in almost 2 decades.
