Tyler “Ty” Acord, better known by his stage name Lophiile and previously as Scout, is an American record producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter. He was born on September 12, 1990, in Lakewood, Washington.

When Acord moved to Los Angeles, California, he began focusing on pursuing his music career under his former stage name, Scout. He recorded one album with metal band A Memoria Brooded, titled Human, in 2012. Soon after, he toured with Tyler Carter as a DJ. Later in the year, Lophiile joined Carter’s metalcore band Issues, playing keyboard and turntables, with his brother Skyler Acord, until 2015 when he disbanded as a permanent member. Lophiile is still a session member for the band as a producer and keyboardist.

In 2015, Lophiile won DJ Zedd’s “I Want You To Know” remix contest. He began making numerous remixes and eventually two singles of his own, “Newno,” and “Off Top,” which was recorded with rapper Freddie Gibbs.

Lophiile has produced tracks for artists like Gallant, H.E.R, Goldlink, Moss Kena, and even BTS. As an artist, Lophiile produces Hip-Hop, Electronic and Contemporary R&B music.

Lophiile is also a part of the neo-soul group Radiant Children, along with producer Marco Bernardis and singer Fabienne Holloway. As Radiant Children, they first appeared on rapper Goldlink’s song Summatime in 2017. In August 2018, they released their debut EP TRYIN'.
