Richie Quake is an R&B artist from Brooklyn, New York. His music has been featured on the well-known blog Pigeons & Planes and Vice and has accrued tens of thousands of plays on his Soundcloud.
Quake’s first release was the 2013 genre-traversing album Visions, and he has followed it up with an R&B sound indebted to the pitched-down style of Soundcloud vocals as well as classic lyrical tropes of the genre. 2015 saw his release In Love N' Memory as an expansion of this sound.
2016 has been a year of pop-leaning singles, from “Sweettalk” to “Hesitate,” but the year kicked off with the more subdued “Irresistible (Ice Cold).” He closed out the year with a premiere in The Fader of the dark R&B song “Try.”
