James Napier, better known as Jimmy Napes, is a British singer/songwriter best known for his chart success with long-term collaborators Sam Smith and Disclosure.
Several songs using his lyrics have topped the UK Singles Chart, including Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be”, Naughty Boy’s “La La La” and Sam Smith’s “Stay with Me”.
Aside from his behind-the-scenes work, Napes has explored his own musical direction on his debut EP The Making of Me (2015), where he vocals three new songs of his own and collaborates with legendary producer MJ Cole.
