Mayhem NODB is a Grime MC from Birmingham & one of the founding members of N.O.D.B. Mayhem started spitting bars in primary school and by the time he was 14 he was performing at events like the infamous Sidewinder and Eskimo Dance. At this young tender age he was one of the first grime artists to use his initiative to produce video content showcasing his music alongside other Birmingham artists.

Mayhem has huge following not only in Birmingham but all around the UK and internationally. NODB was one of the first Grime groups from Birmingham arising in early 2003. This helped to popularise Grime in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. In 2011 Mayhem was released from Prison and he created his first CD “Mr Splash” which was then released in 2012. It features a gritty sound. Shortly after the release Mayhem joined a group called StayFresh.

StayFresh was created and managed by Jamie Dred and Despa Robinson. Some of the artists included in the group were Raider, Pressure and J1. Mayhem’s second CD was titled “Its Peakum” (2013), featuring a more accessible sound. Then releasing CD “Gassum The Mixtape" (2015) which features Big Narstie, Jaykae, Safone, Deadly, Swifta Beater & more.

In 2017, Mayhem was one of the opening acts for Skepta @ Alexandra Palace and played a role in the Channel 4 documentary Pirate Mentality, a documentary featuring interviews from the genre’s founders and innovators including Kano, Tinchy Stryder, Chip, Slimzee and more.
