Loathe are a metal band from Liverpool, England who are known for their dark, brooding concept albums with similarly dark music videos.

Formed in 2014, they currently consist of lead vocalist Kadeem France, guitarist/second vocalist Erik Bickerstaffe, guitarist Connor Sweeney, drummer Sean Radcliffe and bassist Feisal El-Khazragi.

They are often categorized within the metalcore genre but are known for their experimental and unique sound, bringing elements from many different genres. They have been nominated by Heavy Metal Awards for “Best U.K Breakthrough” and Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award’s “Best new Band” 2018.

They have released two EP’s and one studio album. The first of their EP’s is titled “Prepare Consume Proceed” was released in 2015, and re-issued when they signed with SharpTone Records in 2016. They then issued their first debut studio album “The Cold Sun” in 2017. They then followed up with a split EP with their label-mate Holding Absence which was titled “This Is As One”.
Their sophomore album “I Let It In and It Took Everything” released on February 7th 2019. It featured 14 tracks following multiple different stories as opposed to one narrative spanning the whole album as they had done with their previous album.
With their intense, unique sound, dark storytelling lyrics and cinematic stage presence Loathe certainly won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
