The Kompetition is a production team consisting of J. Sebastian, Ether Phoenix, & Razsy Beats.
Sebastian and Razsy met whilst studying at the Institute of Audio Research (I.A.R) in New York, where Sebastian then introduced his friend Ether. They now serve as the trio that is The Kompetition, most commonly known for producing hip-hop tracks for artists such as the 070 collective. They got their first big break when they released 070’s debut album The 070 Project: Chapter 1.
More recently, however, they have released 070 Shake’s compelling EP Glitter and are working on her highly anticipated solo album Yellow Girl.
