Artist

Mixing engineer, James Royo, is the perfect example of a music industry rookie who never stopped perfecting his craft and quickly rose to the top of the game. James began his work in mixing and engineering in Miami, but moved to California in 2012 and started doing sessions with producer, DJ Mustard. Over the course of his first few years mixing and engineering, he worked with big names such as YG, Jason Derulo, T.I., Trey Songz, Kid Ink, and even recorded and mixed DJ Mustard’s entire album, “10 Summers.” More recently, he has mixed and engineered for even bigger artists, such as Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, Britney Spears, Nick Jonas, and is responsible for mixing Major Lazer’s “Lean On,” which is the all-time most streamed song on Spotify. James has a knack for taking a song and using his talent behind the soundboard to create a smash hit, and with a growing discography as impressive as his, he is on his way toward being one of the generation’s most iconic names in the music industry.
